Services with complicated fee structures and multilingualization, appealing to users

Major telecommunication service company in Japan

  • Issue

The client wanted to deploy multilingualization without losing the appeal of information that is unique to the telecommunication industry, such as complicated fee structures, but there was a need to unify terminology.

  • Solution & result

By centralizing the translations at TOIN, it was possible to unify the terminology of various media (web, leaflets, catalogs) and achieve appeal to users. Since the unique and complicated explanations as well as fee structures were to be localized into multiple languages, TOIN was able to achieve accurate translations by having translators who are well-versed in Japanese culture translate from Japanese directly into the target language (no need to translate to English first).
